Damon is a system of orthodontic treatment that uses self-ligating brackets and high-tech wires to correct the position of the teeth.
Unlike traditional braces, these special brackets have a 'trap door' design, where the wire is clipped into place and is able to glide freely underneath.
These brackets eliminate the need for elastics and metal ties that would typically keep the wire in place — components that create friction and pressure, limiting tooth movement and making treatment less comfortable for the patient.
